2nd Armored Brigade Combat Team returns from deployment
HINESVILLE, GA (WTOC)- 87 soldiers with the 2nd Armored Brigade Combat Team were greeted by their loved ones Monday after they returned from a 7-month deployment in Afghanistan. The Spartan Brigade marched across Cottrell Field during the homecoming ceremony. Family members say they couldn't wait for them to return home.
"He is a hero in my heart and in my eyes," said Rhonda Scott, mother of soldier.
