ATLANTA, GA (WTOC) - Georgia Power is celebrating Earth Day, and has a few tips to offer for around the home.

Flood watch continues

SAVANNAH, GA (WTOC) - The First Alert Doppler Max 11 weather team continues to monitor Tropical Depression Beryl.

Flood watches remain in effect for several counties across Georgia. Most the heavy rain and gusty wind from Tropical Depression Beryl is expected to hit between 11 a.m. and 3 p.m. on Tuesday. Track the storm with WTOC's Hurricane Center.

Controlled burn under way

HINESVILLE, GA (WTOC) - Forestry crews are conducting a controlled burn at Fort Stewart on Wednesday. Smoke is heavy in some areas so be careful if you're driving on or near that area.
