Project Homeless Connect event set for Saturday | Events
HINESVILLE, GA (WTOC) - Project Homeless Connect is an initiative presented to help direct services to the homeless and the ‘at risk’ of being homeless in our community.
PHC will hold an information session on June 9 from 1 until 4 p.m. at the Mt. Zion Community Center, located at 1370 Shaw Road in Hinesville. Participants will include nonprofit organizations, businesses, educational institutions, government agencies, service providers and residents willing to give back to the community. The event will offer health screenings (blood pressure checks, etc), food/hot meal, free haircuts, care packages, employment assistance, housing referrals/applications, information and resource referrals, business services, spiritual care, etc.
